I feel like I’m finally starting to get the hang of this whole blogging thing. Photoshoots and all the planning that goes into them has been getting easier, and it’s been easier to expand and update social media as well. Now that I’ve gotten the basics of the blog down and all the accounts set up I’ve been trying to use them more and add more/different content across platforms. This week I wanted to share a sneak peek of what’s coming soon to the blog, one of my favorite commercials, and a sweatshirt I need opinions on!
one // Coming soon – Every Thursday I send out my weekly newsletter with a recap of the past few posts, minor updates, and the first paragraph of my Saturday post. However, I’m so excited about the next few posts I wanted to share everything a little bit early! Coming up are posts about Smorgasburg (a Brooklyn food market) featuring the outfit in the cover photo of this post, how I get some of my cutest clothes for super cheap, and some of my favorite things to do on a rainy day in New York City. Sign up for the weekly newsletter to get constant previews and more!
two // KJP Anchor Crewnecks – I’ve been eying this crewneck since it came out – it looks like the comfiest sweatshirt ever and I love the faded colors, I just can’t decide which one I like best! Does anyone have a favorite? (I think I’m between the navy and orange!) Leave a comment below!
three // Despicable Me 3 – I feel like I’m too old for this franchise, but I’m still obsessed with the minions and I can’t wait for the fourth movie to come out on Friday. If movies weren’t $17 in New York I’d be seeing it opening night, but I’ll more likely just wait until it’s On Demand so I can watch it for $5!
four // Yoplait Commercial – When I’m home, I only watch live TV. The wifi in my bedroom is terrible making Netflix more of a hassle than it’s worth. It’s good because it gives me a chance to see what new shows are coming out, but it also means a lot more commercials. I was watching Friends the other night and a Yoplait commercial caught my attention. It draws attention to how judgmental we are as a society towards moms and I thought it was hilarious. Very real, very honest, and very funny. If you haven’t seen it yet, watch it here!
five // Thank you – I wanted to use this as a chance to say thank you to all the people who help make this blog possible and everyone who reads it. Special thank you to my mom (who takes most of my pictures), as well as all of my friends who have taken pictures for me over the past few months. If there’s anything you want to see on the blog whether it’s New York related, style, or anything else, reach out; leave a comment, email me, tweet at me, whatever floats your boat. All of my social media accounts are linked at the top and bottom of the page!
