Nothing screams summer to me quite like the color yellow. I purchased this dress from Shopbop last year and immediately fell in love. Between the right size top, adjustable straps and perfect length this dress fits perfectly. While I don’t love wearing sandals in New York (so gross!) I do love that I can wear this with flat sandals and it doesn’t drag on the ground. It’s all cotton so not too hot or sticky and just overall a perfect summer dress in my book.
I had given up on being able to link directly to it but while looking at something else from English Factory on Nordstrom’s website I went to check their full stock and was shocked and thrilled to find this dress! It’s also cheaper than I remember it being last summer which makes it an even better find.
Overall I’ve found that English Factory makes super cute stuff (as seen here) and is usually among the cheaper brands at stores like Tuckernuck, Shopbop and even Nordstrom.
I couldn’t resist shooting it with sunflowers because they’re the quintessential late summer flower. They start to pop up in New York in August, after most other flowers have reached peak bloom. I love how they carry the summer feel into early September despite retail stores switching their inventory over to fall.
You can find this exact dress here but linking some of my other favorite English Factory finds and yellow dresses below!
