It’s time for another round of Amazon finds!
beauty
one // After over 10 years, my curling iron finally called it quits. The plastic tip fell off and I knew it was about time to replace it. I looked into some of the newer, more expensive options, but my heat protectant does a great job and my hair holds a curl pretty well, so I decided to save my money and went for a super basic 1” wand from Bedhead. I’ve only used it a few times (no need to apply heat during quarantine) but it’s worked perfectly well so far.
two // My last bottle of Fake Bake turned green before I got around to using it (yikes!) so I consulted my best friend/fake-tan guru on a new self-tanner. Loving Tan has a cult following and for good reason. The color looks great on and it applies super smoothly. I liked the foam a lot more than the spray. The only negative is it doesn’t fade quite as naturally as some fake tanners do.
three // I was #influenced to buy this Palmer’s lotion by Dede Raad of Dress Up Buttercup, who shared that it was great for stretch marks. I haven’t noticed a huge difference yet, but the coconut smell makes it feel like summer and it’s a good overall lotion.
four // I don’t think I’ll ever go back to expensive primers after trying e.l.f.’s Poreless Putty primer. It goes on so smoothly and creates a great base for makeup. It’s also a fraction of the price of most! I’m also looking forward to trying the Luminous version.

five // To be honest, the one time I tried to use this iPhone tripod adaptor I forgot the screw to attach it to the tripod but I love the idea of it! If you already travel with a tripod, this is great for when you don’t want to lug the camera. It comes with a remote too, making it ideal for at-home selfies that don’t look it, or even for taking pictures with friends.
six and seven // I got so annoyed at having cords everyone, especially on and around my desk, and these gear ties are perfect for keeping my workspace neat & tidy. I use the 6-inch version for computer chargers and bigger cables, while the 3-inch are perfectly sized for phone chargers.

eight // This winter I was on a candle burning spree and had at least one lit almost every day. This wick trimmer cleans up the wick to keep your candle clean and easy to re-light.
nine // This leather conditioner really deserves its own post. My jeans started to transfer slightly onto my Chanel purse and I immediately freaked out. I purchased this, rubbed it into the area with a washcloth, let it sit, then wiped any excess oil and it looks good as new. Would highly recommend using it in caring for your leather goods!
ten // The number of plants in our apartment has grown exponentially this year and with it, so has the number of bugs. These bug traps go right into the plant and have been great for catching those pesky gnats. In smaller plants, I recommend only taking the backing off one-side so your plant doesn’t stick to the trap.
eleven // This plant stand was by far one of my favorite purchases. It’s affordable but elevates the look of a plant without the price tag of similar options from West Elm or Crate and Barrel. If the wood doesn’t fit in your room, try spray-painting it gold or black for a different vibe. (P.S. read more on my adventures in plant parenting here!)
twelve // I’ve always been a huge fan of S’well, but my last bottle got so banged up it didn’t sit flat anymore. I figured it was time for an upgrade. I love the light wood design!
thirteen // The biggest upgrade I’ve made for my desk is this two-tier monitor stand. I love the shelf for storing pens and notebooks without cluttering the desk and there’s even a phone holder built-in. I made my dad put it together for me – would recommend making sure you have a screwdriver before ordering!
