A lot can change in a month… When I took these photos and drafted this post, I was wearing jeans every single day. My work dress code is fairly casual, so dark and black jeans are my go-to’s on a daily basis to look decently put together without being wildly uncomfortable. Having ones that fit and don’t wear out are so important to me.
Despite being on the petite side and having a small waist, I have what my mom calls ‘German thighs,’ meaning regular jeans tend to gape around my waist if they fit my legs. Enter: Evelane’s Curvy Stretch High-Rise Skinny Jeans. I decided to give them a try when I wanted to replace my go-to black jeans that were quickly wearing out. They quickly became my favorite pair of jeans and after months of wearing them religiously, I purchased a second pair in the dark blue wash.
These jeans are unbeatable in price, fit like a glove, and best of all don’t stretch to the point of not fitting after a couple of wears. The fit is totally true to size and if you’re on the shorter side like I am, the ankle-length is perfect.
While I’m totally obsessed with my black pair, the dye from the dark blue pair does transfer onto clothes/shoes/jacket. If that doesn’t scare you, or if you’ve figured out a way to get rid of the color transfer without eliminating the color from the jeans, then they’re perfect. The mid-blue didn’t do it for me, but I couldn’t recommend the black or dark blue enough!
