Another week has flown by. Finals are quickly approaching, I registered for my last ever semester of undergrad, and this year is moving far too quickly. Next weekend my parents are coming down to DC to visit and I can’t wait for good food, an excuse to finally check out the Jeni’s downtown and some time with family. But first, I’ve gotta get through this week.
one // My favorite eyeliner – I’m not very into makeup but I love Sephora because of the samples and points programs. I usually shy away from the Sephora brand in favor of NARS and Tarte, but I’ve been using the Sephora 12 hour wear contour eye pencil and absolutely love it. It goes on smooth and dark, stays on all day, and is $10. I’m obsessed.
two // Lace-up back sweater – I have a super similar sweater to this one that I’ve been wearing non-stop since before it got cold because it’s that comfy. I’ve been wanting to share this sweater forever but it was a little pricey because it’s cashmere, so I was waiting for it to go on sale and it finally did! I think you can never have too many black sweaters because they’re so easy to throw on over jeans and top with a scarf. So cute and so versatile!
three // Statement earrings under $25 – This weekend, my roommate and I went on a mission to find her statement earrings to wear for her semi-formal. From the beginning of our search, I told her she’d find exactly what she was looking for at Francesca’s. It ended up being the last place we looked but like I’d suggested, we found exactly what she wanted. I loved so many of the earrings we saw that I had to share some of my favorites with you. P.S. I have the first pair in a dusty pink color and they’re so cute!! I shared them in this post and this post!
four // iPhone X – I think the funniest news I’ve seen regarding the iPhone X is people coming to the realization that it cracks when dropped as if things normally made of glass don’t break when dropped. This Twitter moment just about sums it up.
five // Favorite October Post – October felt like a short month in terms of blogging because of my one-week hiatus due to my computer problems (if you missed that, you can find the full story here) but I ended up really happy with the content I did get up. One of my favorite posts was Common Resume Mistakes You’re Probably Making. I spend so much of my time proofreading and editing resumes that it felt like such a relevant post for college students. I love talking about my college experience and the work I do at the Career Center so let me know what other college and career posts you’d like to see in the future! Comment, slide into my DM’s, or shoot me an email!
