one // Jack Rogers – Jack Rogers are my favorite summer sandals and I always look forward to the spring day I break them out again. Every so often they put on sample sales in New York and they just announced their next one is happening this week! I try to go every time and in the past, I’ve gotten really cute gold wedges for $50. (It’s located at 1412 Broadway, Suite 1600 and is open 8 AM – 6 PM Monday-Thursday, and 8 AM – 1 PM Friday.) If you don’t live in New York or can’t make it, they’re also offering $20 off all monogram shoes online with code INITIAL only until midnight tonight.
two // Bloomingdales Friends & Family – continuing with the sales trend, Bloomingdales currently has a 25% off Friends and Family promotion going on. It’s not valid on everything, but you CAN use the discount code on my embroidered denim jacket.
three // MLB Opening Day – Although I’ll watch pretty much any live sport, baseball is one of my favorites. That may or may not be because basketball is one of my least favorites or because the Mets have been incredible the past two years and always start the season strong, but I’ll leave that up to interpretation.
four // Infinity Mirrors – in my first post on this blog (which feels like forever ago even though it’s barely been a month!) I talked about the Infinity Mirrors exhibit at the Hirshhorn Museum in D.C. Curbed just made a video about it that’s going viral so now you can get a better look at what I was talking about! It looks just as incredible in person as it does in the video – I wish I could go through it again… Unfortunately, a viral video means it’ll be even harder to get tickets in the future.
five // Boozy Milkshakes – continuing on the viral video trend, Black Tap, the NYC restaurant famous for massive, over-the-top milkshakes just created a new one, complete with a brownie batter and cookie dough rim, ice cream, milk, caramel, bourbon, a donut and of course whipped cream on top. Black Tap has been on my NYC bucket list for ages so I’m really hoping to finally make it to one this summer; I just hope they taste as good as they look.

Glad to know I’m not the only one who enjoys baseball. I’m excited for the season to start
