If you’ve been following along since the beginning, you’ll remember one of my first posts was about the Aerie pop-up shop in SoHo. I got two one-pieces that day but didn’t get a chance to share pictures of them until this weekend. I loved the bright colors and fun patterns on them almost as much as I loved the store.
When I was younger I would constantly alternate between wearing only one-piece bathing suits and wearing anything but them. I think one of the best things is not having to worry about putting sunscreen on my stomach but they’re also just so cute!
I paired the leafy blue one-piece with these denim shorts. They’re Joe’s Jeans and I found them at TJ Maxx of all places! They were so cheap and are so comfortable.
As much as I love the leaf print on the blue one-piece, this pineapple one is my favorite. I love the pineapple, the strappy back, and the color. Unfortunately, neither style is available online anymore, but Aerie keeps releasing new swim that’s universally flattering. Besides making cute suits, they’re also a great company all around. I’m a huge fan of their Aerie real campaign and they support NEDA, a non-profit that supports people affected by eating disorders, and bright link, which is dedicated to the prevention of breast and ovarian cancer. Their support of women and positive body image branding is truly inspiring.
