With the prices of New York City real estate, it’s no surprise pop-up shops are becoming so popular. The Aerie pop-up in SoHo is by far one the most beautifully decorated spaces I have seen. After seeing the window displays I couldn’t resist going inside to check out the rest of the store. I absolutely love the flower wall window display: it made a post-blizzard snow day in the city still feel like spring.
The decorations got me inside, but the new swim collection is what kept me there. I’ve been on the hunt for the perfect one piece and the ones at Aerie definitely fit the bill. I grabbed a few on my way through the store. It’s possible that the fitting room area somehow managed to upstage the rest of the store. I knew about Aerie’s Real campaign but the store takes it one step further. Here are just a few of the dressing rooms, each with a different quote on the wall. There was great lighting for trying on clothes and the cozy couches and fun pillows made the whole experience a lot more enjoyable than most other bathing suit shopping experiences.
The bright yellow floral ruffle was by far my favorite (it’s so flattering on!) but this pineapple suit was also so cute! I ended up getting the ruffle bathing suit in the deep waters color, and the neon pineapple one piece. I can’t wait to wear them in South Carolina in two weeks! A few more of my favorites are below. The super scoop didn’t work for my body, but it comes in so many colors and the style is so fun for summer! If you still aren’t convinced, all one pieces are currently $40!
