Even as a fashion blogger, I still look to other bloggers who have been in the game far longer than I have for inspiration. Lately, I’ve been absolutely loving Kelly in the City.
For starters, her blog header is the New York City skyline and is honestly exactly what I had been thinking for mine before I decided to give my blog a more general name.
Second, as much as I would love to take credit for this outfit, if you saw it posted on my Instagram on Monday, you’d know it came completely from her. I had been wondering how to wear my bright yellow Hunter boots for Fall and when I saw Kelly post this outfit. I couldn’t pass up the opportunity to duplicate it, considering I already had the boots and scarf. I added my favorite red bag to make it my own and added a red lip to bring it all together. (PS this lipgloss is from NARS and is a 100 point reward at Sephora right now!) It’s not the first style tip I’ve taken from her this month either – I also purchased this $38(!!!) peacoat she shared earlier in October. The camel ended up being too big on me but I ordered the pink in a size small and it’s amazing.
Her style is clean, simple and classic and I absolutely love it. Also, how can you not love the pictures she posts of her daughter Emma, who may or may not be the cutest one-year-old I’ve ever seen.
