I realized a little bit too late that if you see something you like at Lululemon, especially a backpack, you should buy it immediately because you never know when and if it’ll be recreated. A while back I saw a backpack I liked but at the time wasn’t ready to spend the money on it, so I’ve been waiting for the next perfect one. When I saw this one in stores, I knew it was it.
It’s called the City Adventurer and it’s perfect for just that. It has a laptop sleeve in the back, separate from the main pocket. Inside the main pocket, there is a mesh pocket for smaller things and a second mesh pocket to keep a water bottle in place and standing upright inside the backpack. On the side is a little pocket that can hold a phone, keys, headphones, and/or a cardholder. The bottom compartment is the real highlight though. It’s meant to store sweaty gym clothes and comes with a drawstring bag to keep them together.
I use the backpack for work and the bottom expandable pocket is perfect for shoes. When it’s not a heatwave or raining (unlike this week) I love walking to work. I have to be there at 8 AM and the city is quiet, making it a really enjoyable leisurely walk. It’s a decent walk so I wear sneakers and bring flats or heels to change into. The pocket is perfect because it keeps my shoes separate from the rest of my stuff and doesn’t get anything dirty or gross.
I’m usually holding my phone, but the side pocket is perfect for stashing my metro card so I have easy access to it, along with my keys. I can fit snacks, a journal, and whatever else I might need in the main pocket, and use the smaller zipped pocket for pens, or other small items. Whether I’m going straight home from work, shopping, working on the blog (just going to somewhere with wifi to write or doing a photoshoot) the backpack holds everything I need.
Get it while you still can!

Hi, well first of all, love the site🥰And I wanted to ask if you think this size backpack is too small for highschool use. Thank you for your time.

Hi Alexandra! Definitely don’t think it’s too small but depends on how many textbooks, binders and notebooks you need. I never used it for school personally but one of my friends used it for grad school and was able to carry a ton of stuff in it!
