I’m sorry for the lack of posts from the last week; my computer screen was acting up so I brought it to the store to get looked at it and they had to send it out for repairs so I was computer-less for a little less than a week. I wasn’t expecting it so I wasn’t able to prepare in advance and it definitely took a toll on my school work and the blog. To make up for it today is going to be picture and fashion overload.
I love my leather jacket and have found myself throwing it on over sweaters on the way to class every other day. I normally wear it casually, but I realized I have so many leather pieces I can wear so many different ways. I designed this post as leather inspiration so whether you have pants, a skirt, a sweater or jacket you’ll be able to make the most of it and style it for any occasion.
The first look I pulled together is super casual. You might remember my DC Fashion Week outfit also included these pants, but that was a slightly dressier look so I wanted to challenge myself to dress them down. I couldn’t get away from the olive and black combo and ended up pairing them with this sweater from SheIn and my favorite slip-on sneakers. This outfit is super easy to recreate if you have leather pants or leggings, just throw on a sweater and sneaks and you’re good to go!
For my second look, I took it up a notch with my leather jacket. Full disclosure; I almost wore this bodysuit and jacket with the wax jeans and a pair of black heels for Halloween so I could be Sandy from Grease. Instead, I traded in the wax for classic blue jeans and heels for over the knee boots. This look is great for brunch or dinner with friends and is honestly so comfortable
Last but not least is a great going out or date night look. I was so tempted to pair this skirt with a graphic tee, similar to some of my outfits from this post, but I loved the combination of a little lace in contrast with the black leather. I couldn’t resist throwing a half leather sweater on top of it too and adding fun lace-up black heels. Recreate this look with your favorite 90’s inspired lace cami and a leather skirt.
